Gymnastics Seminar: July 8th 9:30-11:00 AM (followed by a saturday WOD)
Who: Coach Angel Rodriguez and Coach Savannah Bishop
Objectives: To progress the understanding and techniques of Kipping Pull ups and Hand stand push ups.
– focus on the importance of hollow and arch body positions
– work on lat and core engagement drills
– create body awareness and understanding of how to use lower body momentum to improve movement efficiency
– teach mobility and activation drills to improve these movements
– give clients protocols for extra work to advance these specific skills
AT THE END OF THE PULL-UP PROGRESSION EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHY THEY WERE NOT OR CANNOT GET A PULL-UP OR HSPU JUST YET…AND WILL KNOW WHAT WEAKNESSES TO PRACTICE ON IN THE GYM-. ??
